Melina Ruais is an experienced vocal instructor, singer, songwriter, and the founder of Vocal Tech Academy. Originally from Sweden, she brings over 13 years of coaching experience, teaching voice (all levels) and beginner piano. Melina blends traditional classical techniques with the latest trends in music performance to help students of all genres and skill levels discover their unique sound.

After moving to Los Angeles in 2013 to study at SAE’s Audio Engineering program, Melina built a diverse career as a vocal coach, working with pop singers, musical artists, and actors. Her students range from complete beginners to professional artists, and her expertise extends into vocal production, studio work, songwriting,
and music production.

Melina loves music and singing and enjoys working with people to help them reach their goals. She has collaborated with renowned institutions like the Hollywood Academy of Music and Arts, The Music Junction, and L.A. Music Teachers.

Now based in Austin, Texas, she continues to nurture artists with a compassionate and personalized approach. Committed to continuously improving her skills, Melina stays on top of the latest trends and techniques.
